In the Beginning:
Many years ago, the CEO was watching TV and at the time a presidential press conference was being held. The president was standing at the podium with the "Seal of the President of the United States" wording on the front. After a few minutes the letter "p" on the seal was obstructed by one of the news reporters and it read "seal of the RESIDENT of the United States." It occurred to Lou that that seal could have represented all of us who are "residents".
The Growing Years:
The first attempt to get the seal developed took place in the 1970s as our bicentennial of the United States was being celebrated. The second seal showed the statue of liberty and was somewhat similar to the seal you now see. The original seals were sold and placed on glass windows and even used as bumper stickers.
Where we're going:
We have now decided to "go bigger" in an attempt to do several things - first of all make the seal available to many more "residents" of the United States, and to help fundraise for local and national "pro-life" organizations.
